If you’re getting married in 2025 you’ll be acutely aware that your wedding year is now just around the corner, and it’s time to find the perfect finishing touch to elevate your bridal look - your wedding veil. At Rebecca Anne Designs every embroidered veil is made bespoke, and my brides and I consider ourselves trendsetters rather than followers…however, the latest couture crazes are popular for a reason, and looking ahead to next year I’m seeing ten 2025 wedding veil trends emerging that might help inspire your own custom design.
Should you follow 2025 wedding veil trends?
Let’s be honest: the list of 2025 wedding veil trends appears differently depending on where you look, varying with the designer’s signature style, by country and across different styles of wedding. When browsing for what’s in fashion in the veil world for the coming year, remember that a ‘trend’ should only be followed to the extent that it feels right for you. Think of it like attending a runway show, admiring the exaggerated statement pieces before adapting them for your own style and preference.
The veil trends you’ll find here are carefully curated to suit the luxe, fashion-forward tastes of my brides and the innovative nature of my designs, and are globally appealing for my worldwide brides.
How do 2025 wedding veil trends work with bespoke design?
Rebecca Anne Designs veils and bridal accessories are tailor made to order, custom pieces for individual brides rather than mass manufactured duplicates. When dreaming up and designing your bespoke veil, we can be led by the current veil trends and use them as inspiration to create a one of a kind accessory that will become a treasured heirloom.
For example, if you come to me loving the trend for black accents on a wedding veil there is a huge variety of ways we can incorporate this - from a dramatic, all-black ruffle edge statement piece to a buttery soft short ivory veil with chic edge embroidery in inky black thread. Take every trend listed here with a twist of creativity, and remember the sky is the limit when it comes to crafting a luxuriously personal bridal accessory.
Ten 2025 Wedding Veil Trends
ONE - Veils with Black Accents
Topping the list of 2025 wedding veil trends is my charcoal capsule collection, The Black Edit - it’s the wedding world’s answer to the Little Black Dress, and just as iconic. If you want to look exquisite in ebony, explore my five collection pieces: onyx florals, raven ruffles, sable-stitched poetry, black bows and ribbons, and your choice of script in nighttime noir.
Use the collection to inspire your own black accented wedding veil, whether you choose to go devastatingly dark or opt for a subtle nod to monochrome. If there’s one thing black wedding veils always deliver on, it’s serious style.

TWO - Sculptural Florals
Floral designs for wedding veils are timelessly popular, and I’m working on an exciting new collection to reinvent embroidered florals as you know them. Watch as innovation blooms and all-new 3D sculptural flowers are unveiled, elevating your bridal accessories to new levels of depth and texture. Retaining the fluffy, flowy feel of a Rebecca Anne Designs veil in my signature soft tulle, these pieces will add a layer of loveliness that echoes the sculptural designs seen on the Chanel catwalk this summer.
Watch this space because the new 3D floral collection is coming to take up space in the bridal world - 2025 wedding veil trends just got even more exciting.
THREE - Maximalist Design
Large scale single line florals are my signature design element, and maximalist pattern work will always be a personal favourite of mine. I already have some gorgeous commissions booked in for 2025 that will require me to hand draw, digitise and stitch some beautifully bold and simultaneously delicate veil artwork.
The challenge of connecting your design together seamlessly on the sewing machine is one I always enjoy, seeing it come together stitch by stitch to reveal one stunning, show-stopping finished product. The Knot’s roundup of trending wedding dress styles for 2025 highlights brides’ increasing desire to push the fashion boundaries on their wedding day - in their words, go big or go home.

FOUR - The Bow
Bows are here to stay, so they just had to make the top ten 2025 wedding veil trends list. They’re feminine and pretty, but the best thing is they’re so versatile. Just take a look at the 6 different design styles I offer to see how diverse this look can be. The bridal bow makes a gorgeous statement accessory for your wedding day, or a chic second look to go alongside your veil. I’ve even made them for hen parties and legal ceremonies ahead of the big day.

FIVE - Pearl Veils
Ever since I introduced Pearl to my embroidered veil collection, she’s been a firm favourite among brides. The all-over pearl fabric is an Old Hollywood glamour alternative to my classic tulle, and always feels classy and sumptuous. If a totally textured design feels like too much, I am also now offering the option to add individual pearls for just a sprinkling of strategically placed wow factor.
With this new technique your embroidered veil is now more personal than ever, and we can design completely bespoke Pearl accessories exactly the way you want them.

SIX - Something Blue
While the vast majority of Rebecca Anne Designs veils and accessories are monochrome, every now and again I like to add a tasteful dash of sophisticated colour. For the brides looking to glide down the aisle in their ‘something blue’, I have created a dreamy blue satin bow and can add subtle embroidery elements in the same powder blue thread. There may even be a statement blue piece to come in the new collection, and I foresee this becoming more popular as a 2025 wedding veil trend.
SEVEN - All-Over Design
Sometimes more is more, and all-over embroidery designs are a surefire way to make a statement and really tell a story. If you have an unpatterned dress these are particularly striking, whether you choose head-to-toe floral embroidery, a full custom poem, or a detailed bespoke design. Perfect for when you have a lot to say with your veil design, and bound to be a keepsake you’ll treasure for years beyond your wedding - some brides even have their embroidered veils framed!

EIGHT - Alternative Edges
Next on my list of 2025 wedding veil trends is elevating your veil edge. Most Rebecca Anne Designs veils have a clean-cut edge, which means the tulle simply flows to its natural finish, but I am working on designing some different options to add an extra level of je ne sais quoi to your bridal accessory. My ruffle edge veil designs are already popular, so look out for some new styles coming soon.
NINE - Veil Repurposing
I can guarantee you’re going to be so in love with your bespoke veil design, you’ll want to wear it more than once! In 2025 repurposing and reusing are going to be all the rage, in the most stylish way possible. I can’t recommend highly enough booking a post-wedding shoot with your partner, to continue basking in the newly-married glow - and wear your veil again! After my wedding day (at which I had two veils) I felt as though my second accessory didn’t have nearly enough time to shine, so when my husband Jeremy and I got the chance to do a beach shoot after the big day I was delighted to wear it again.
You can also read the beautiful story of my real bride Charlotte who repurposed her custom made veil to adorn her baby’s crib, weaving it into the very fabric of their family story.
TEN - Borderless Brides
I believe that, no matter where you are in the world, you should be able to have your dream veil designed and delivered just the same. That’s why I offer global delivery of my veils, each of which is made in my countryside studio in Somerset, England. You can also see, touch and try on samples of my embroidered veil designs in four countries, with more coming soon - take a look at my list of worldwide stockists to see which one is closest to you.
